Dr. Christina Itata, MD
Christina Itata, MD is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation who received her training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she served as the Academic Chief Resident. She subsequently completed further specialty training at the ACGME-accredited multidisciplinary Pain Medicine Fellowship at Emory School of Medicine.
Dr. Itata’s areas of expertise include diagnosis of spine and joint pathology and performance of facet, epidural and peripheral joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty as well as many other interventional pain medicine procedures. She also has experience and interest in regenerative medicine.
As an Interventional Pain Medicine physician, she embraces the ideals of effective communication between patients and healthcare providers, evidence-based medicine and compassionate care.
